INSTALLATION
Unpack the Gordian Tomb archive to a folder on your hard drive.

PLAYING THE GAME
The goal of Gordian Tomb is to find the secret treasure room. This room is located somewhere in the tomb, where many dangers await you. Throughout the game there are 8 items you need to collect. Use these items to unlock areas that will otherwise remain inaccessible, and navigate through the dangerous obstacles you encounter to collect the ultimate prize!

Opening the program will take you to the title screen. Here you can press [esc] to exit Gordian Tomb, or FIRE to start a new game. Pressing [s] or [m] anywhere in the game will turn on/off sound and music. While playing the game, press [esc] to return to the title screen.

Use the directional keys (LEFT, RIGHT) to control your hero. Press FIRE to jump. To select an item, press [1] to [8]. This will only work if you have the item in your inventory. Pressing [0] will deselect the currently selected item.

When you are near a ladder, simply press UP or DOWN to climb it. To leave a ladder, press FIRE and LEFT or RIGHT. This will make your hero jump off the ladder. When you are at ground level, you can use LEFT or RIGHT to walk off the ladder.
